Hey there! I‘m Graciela Cruz Flores, I was born in Vancouver and raised in the Tri-Cities of British Columbia. I’m a multimedia journalist with a background in filmmaking. In 2021, I graduated from Langara College in Film Arts Screenplay Writing. In 2024, I went back to school at the British Columbia Institute of Technology, for a Diploma in Broadcasting and Online Journalism, which I graduated in the summer of 2026.
Following my graduation from Langara, in 2022 I assisted on the comedy short film, Don’t Pick Up, which had a successful film festival run, winning Night Comedy Shorts for Best Original Idea.
At BCIT, I honed my passion of storytelling, in multimedia writing, with new skills in documentary style storytelling, and radio/audio storytelling.
